Just discovered this today sounds like a GREAT mix/GREAT night for 84. Just wondering where this stands with the more expierienced listeners.

I'm on Tenessee Jed right now and Jerry's voice sounds strong as hell. Rest of the setlist looks great.

I think this be might be the first 84 show that I put into my collection. Any better suggestions?

I won't babble on about this one yet again, only to say...damnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn.
Morning Dew here is in the top 3 or 4, if not the best, of the Brent era (for me at least).

Well, I am NOT an audiophile but to my ears the Walker-Scoton-Miller mix sounds better. The "analog soundboard" you linked is hissier so it may have more high-end.

But it also sounds to my amateur ears like it might be a little bit fast. I compared Friend of the Devil to Friend of the Devil, and on the newer source Jerry sounds kind of jerrymouse. Please, see for yourself if there isn't a noticeable difference.

[Sorry, that last phrase struck me funny: "...I'm on the help slip frank"]
